The board of Hot Soup Cool Jazz is seeking support for our Hot Soup Cool Jazz annual gala, . As you may be aware, The Jimmy Pratt Memorial Outreach Centre Inc. is one of the four charities that has organized this fundraising event on an annual basis for over ten years. This year’s event will truly be a unique evening featuring some of the most prestigious restaurants in St. John’s such as Raymonds and Portobellos, and many more as they compete in a gourmet soup competition.

All proceeds from the event are in support of individuals facing mental health challenges, homelessness and poverty here in the greater Avalon region of the province..

This year’s event is being held on April 30th, at the St. John’s Convention Centre from 5 to 9 pm. Come mingle with friends, colleges and celebrity servers while enjoying gourmet soups, live jazz music, a silent auction, raffles and some new fun games you won’t want to miss!

Hot Soup Cool Jazz is more than a fundraiser, it’s a collaboration of like-minded organizations that work every day to improve the lives of their clients and patrons. With the active involvement of TD Bank Group as a major sponsor, participating restaurants, other sponsors and donors, volunteers and attendees; this fun evening has become an integral event for the Canadian Mental Health Association of NL, The Jimmy Pratt Outreach Centre, Wreckhouse Jazz & Blues and Choices for Youth.

Tickets are $100 each or corporate tables of 10 are available at a cost of $1,000.00 plus HST. All corporate tables feature your company name in the printed program and will also be displayed on the seating chart. Charitable tax receipts are provided for 50% of each ticket price. To purchase tickets please ticket sales website  Once you complete your purchase, an automatic tax receipt will be issued.

We are also accepting donations for the silent auction. Donors will be provided a charitable receipt for the item’s value and you also have the opportunity to place pamphlets and business cards next to their donated item(s); exposing your brand to over 300 potential attentive buyers.
