“Our Smiling Volunteers”

The Jimmy Pratt Centre exists based on the generosity of our volunteers that week in week out give freely of their time and energy to make certain we can continue our programs to assist these that need help with the day to day challenges of everyday life, The need for hot meals and the support from various agencies to provide them is dependent on our volunteers. While we have the services of individuals that simply want to help we also depend on our sponsors to provide staff as volunteers to ensure that we can maintain high quality meals in a welcoming and friendly environment.

Weekly we have several teams of volunteers that come for three or four hours to help prepare hot mail, serve our patrons and do the cleanup to make ready for the next meal program. Without those smiling faces we would not be able to address our Mission and Vision.       Let’s make 2024 the best year ever!
